The Troubadour is a nightclub, restaurant and pub located at 265 Old Brompton Road, Earls Court, London, England. Established in 1954, it is one of London’s oldest independent music venues. It still offers live music daily, and has played host to a number of major artists such as Bob Dylan (in his very first performance in the UK), Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Charlie Watts, Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Paul Simon, The Pretty Things, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Costello, Sammy Davis, Jr., Richard Harris, Alexis Korner’s Blues Incorporated, Sandy Denny, Richard Farina, Tim Hardin, Tim Buckley, John Prine, and more recently Tori Amos, Adele, Morrissey, and Ed Sheeran.
